Getting Ready for REBarCamp Los Angeles Part Deux!
Posted on 13. Dec, 2009 by Ribeezie in Events
It’s about that time again… Time to start planning for REBarCamp Los Angeles (Part II)!
Who’s Interested?
Several of you have expressed interest in getting involved to some extent as a volunteer. The venue this time around is going to be pretty interesting (more on that later)… My guess is we’ll need folks to cover some of the following:
- Manage the morning chaos (as people walk in from parking their cars, etc.)
- Registration tables
- Lunch tables (to help distribute lunch should we have it sponsored)
- Clock runners (someone to go around and kick people out of the sessions if they go over on time)
- Party planner: basically someone who can call ahead and organize a lil pre-event and post-event shindig…
and more (I think) as we get closer…
If you’d like to participate to some extent, either email me: ribeezie (at) gmail (dot) com or drop a comment below and tell me what you’d like to do.
What Topics Should We Cover?
By now, several of you have been to more than one REBarcamp. Not to mention Inman, RETechSouth, or some other industry conference. I’ve heard from more than a few of you that you wished higher level stuff (content) was covered. So, this is your chance… What would you like covered at REBarCamp Los Angeles this year? What would be most helpful to you?
Speak up and drop a comment below… I’d love to hear from you!
In the meantime, we have a site re-design in the works as well as discussions with the venue to settle on a date. I’ll have more for you updated here including announcements on the status of the new re-design.
