There are a lot of reasons to like Wordpress. Amongst a few of them are:

Ease of use,
Affordability,
Engagement,
Unlimited content creation,
Ease of organization,

and well, it just ranks too damn well in the search engines!

Inspired by Chris Brogan’s post, here’s what I’m going to do for the rest of the month of December. I’m going to do somewhere between 10 – 15 free wordpress installs. No opt-ins. No sales pages. No questionnaires. Just drop a comment below telling my why you need/want a blog and how a having a blog might benefit you and/or your business. I’ll select a winner via email and presto!, you’re all set.

The Not-So-Fine Print:

In order to qualify, you’ll have to purchase hosting through our affiliate program with Bluehost (what happens is we get a kick-back, a “commission”, every time someone purchases hosting through our affiliate link which is why we can do the free installs).

Here’s what’s included -

I’ll install and configure Wordpress for you.
I’ll upload and activate a theme of your choice for you so that your blog looks all schnazzy. Want to check out some cool themes? I recommend Agent Press and Woothemes (disclosure: I am an affiliate for both).
I’ll install add-on software (otherwise known as “plug-ins”) to give your blog a bit of a boost. Things like Disqus commenting, Akismet Spam protection, Tweetmeme, etc.
I’ll give you a short video tutorial that will tell you how to navigate your dashboard so that you know how to write posts, add pages and spice up your blog using widgets.

Here’s what’s NOT included -

I won’t move content over from another blog. I’m setting up a brand spanking new blog for you in this case. If you want your old blog (and all of it’s content migrated over, there’s a service fee for that).
You won’t get personal one-on-one blog coaching. Now I’m not saying that I wouldn’t sit down with you for some one-on-one coaching if you needed it. I’m simply saying that it’s not included in this Basic Install. If you’re interested in coaching, head on over to Ribeezie Media.
You won’t get private tech support. Frankly, we’re not set up for that. Now, I’m happy to answer any questions that you might have if time permits (and I’m often fairly accessible). But don’t think of it as “Tech Support” cuz that’s not what we do.

Get To It:

So there you have it, like I said, I’ll be doing somewhere between 10 – 15 Basic Wordpress Blog installs for the rest of the month of December. In order to qualify, you just have to drop a comment telling me why you want/need a blog and how it would benefit your business. Pretty simple eh? And if you already have a blog, here’s an idea, recommend this to someone who doesn’t by sending them the link (they might find it very helpful even if you don’t).
